Doing your first lookbook/catalog or line sheets could be tough, especially if you are an up and coming designer who just forked out a load of money to the sample-making nightmare:)

Or - if you are in the middle of making the samples, running around in the print shops, dealing with ordering/dyeing/color matching your samples, etc. You know you need your line sheets to get to your buyers, and you want someone who can just do the thing right and not charge you an arm and a leg:)

Makeup artists and hair stylists portfolios

I am a full-time fashion/beauty photographer with a studio in Downtown LA. I found that there are too many photographers who test with makeup artists, and then either don't give them photos, or the photos are not close-up which don't show your work, or the retouching is overdone, or something else is wrong. Basically, you have spent all your day at a shoot for nothing.

I do a lot of work for beauty salons advertising, so I know how to shoot beauty work to make it sparkle. I decided to incorporate shoots just for makeup/hair stylists. What it means is that this is a guaranteed way to get AMAZING shots highlighting your beautiful work, with beautiful face models, and add some killer shots to your portfolio - which are sure to attract high-paying gigs.

As I don't need to provide makeup/hair I can cut my shooting rates dramatically. The cost is $ (email for the price) which gives you a beautiful model (you will be able to choose which one you want), 2 looks, 2 magazine-quality retouched shots of your choice and a CD of all images in high resolution. Current package description for model portfolio development

My rates are truly are affordable for what they include.

First of all, I work with many agencies internationally, and know what they want in the model's book to make her marketable.

Secondly, I myself do a lot of castings for my clients who are designers (just recently did one for Ed Hardy swimwear lookbook and helped them find the model). So I know what type of images the model needs in her book to be considered for paid jobs.

We work with your look and make the absolute best out of you:)

My standard package includes 3 looks (one of which is a beauty shot or a headshot), high-end wardrobe styling, hair/makeup stylist, 3 magazine quality retouched photos of your choice, and a CD with all the images in high resolution. We can shoot either on location or at my photostudio in Downtown Los Angeles.
